Visit to UT - Happy Birthday to ME!

My brother David graduated on April 30th and his twin girls were blessed on May 2nd and since I was going out there anyway for those events I decided to leave a little early to celebrate my birthday with my family.
My sister Becky and my mom love me!  They made me breakfast.
After breakfast we all went to the temple together.  The Jordon River Temple.  It was beautiful.  There is some lovely about being in with family in the temple.  I loved it!
That evening my brothers Stephen and David came over with their families and we had a BBQ and played games.  Lots and loads of fun!!!

Good-bye Bronwyn

My roommate Brownyn left us for California.

She decided to move out with Rachel Cousins in Daly City, CA.

We decided to have a goodbye party

Bronwyn in the hot seat :)  People asked her questions and told her of their favorite Bronwyn stories...

The next morning, Saturday, a group of people came over to help to Bronwyn pack her car.  I will confess...I was impressed what she could fit!

California or BUST!

Good Luck Bronwyn!  Don't miss us too much!

I was at work yesterday when my phone sounded, indicating that I had a new text.  Willing to be distracted from the jet log I was putting together I opened it up and found this...

My nephew Dallin.  He's SO cute!  Going in for his 4 yr check up.  It made my day...so I just had to share.

Up Close, By Melanie G.

I came home from work one day earlier this spring and found that Mel had put my camera to good use and took some pictures of our azaleas

The one below is one of my favorites
Love this one above too...the color contrast is lovely

I currently have this one as my background on my work computer.  It makes me smile :)

Medieval Times

Go back in time...kind of...We did it and everyone else should too.  Expect it to be a little cheesy and a lot of fun and that's exactly what you'll get!

For Lisa's birthday we went up to Maryland to Medieval Times, where they re-enact a 12 century tournament, with horse, jousting, swordfights and more.

Where polite society is left behind and you eat with your hands and boo the bad guys.
The Lord Chamberlain - Master of Ceremonies
Amazing trick used by the knights during battle to protect their rears.  The horse would rear up and kick to the back
So cool!

The Falconer

Partially eaten dinner...remember no utensil
Our Knight

Cherry Blossoms

It's that time of year! Spring!

I love this time of year.  I have some wonderful friends who gave up a little sleep to head up to DC to see the the Cherry Blossoms early Saturday morning.
BEAUTIFUL!!!
I was surprised how many people were already there.
We ended up parking in never never land. BUT it turned about well because of the great pictures we got on the way to the tidal basin and on they back.

Great Friends :)
